Why is it said that youth is wasted on the young when no one ever truly grows up?

Just look at us, we're proof positive.

  • Because the young are blissfully unaware of thier youth. Unaware of the toll life will all to soon exact upon thier souls and bodies. Of course that is a part of what it means to be young.
